Introduction

HLBS Tech’s Commitment to E-Waste Management

At HLBS Technologies Pvt. Ltd., we are dedicated to responsible environmental stewardship and recognise the significance of protecting the environment and conserving natural resources. We encourage and implement sustainable practices for safe collection, recycling, and appropriate disposal of electronic waste in compliance with the E-waste (Management) Rules, 2022 issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India.

Electronic waste (e-waste) refers to discarded electrical and electronic equipment that has reached the end of its useful life and is no longer functional. This includes a wide range of devices such as desktop computers, laptops, workstations, thin clients, mobile phones, smartphones, televisions, air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, printers, photocopiers, fax machines, and audio and video equipment. Responsible reuse, repair, refurbishment, and recycling of these devices can help recover valuable materials, reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills, minimise environmental pollution, and conserve natural resources.

Electronic waste (e-waste) is one of the fastest-growing waste streams worldwide, driven by rapid advances in technology and our growing reliance on electronic devices. Discarded electronic equipment often contains valuable materials like aluminium, copper, gold, silver, and palladium that can be recovered and put back into use if they’re recycled the right way.

However, e-waste may also contain hazardous substances—such as lead, mercury, and cadmium which can pose serious risks to human health and the environment and may contaminate air, soil, and water if not managed properly.

Therefore, responsible collection, repair, recycling, and environmentally sound disposal of e-waste are essential for minimising pollution, recovering valuable resources, conserving natural resources, and promoting a sustainable future.

At HLBS Tech Pvt. Ltd., we’re committed to responsible e-waste management through environmentally sustainable recycling practices. By promoting the proper disposal and recycling of end-of-life electronic products, we help conserve natural resources, reduce landfill waste, and contribute to a cleaner, greener future.

As part of this commitment, we’ve partnered with GREENZON RECYCLING PRIVATE LIMITED, an authorised e-waste recycling organisation, to provide our customers with a safe, convenient, and compliant solution for disposing of electronic equipment that has reached the end of its useful life.

Through this partnership, we ensure e-waste is collected, transported, processed, and recycled in accordance with the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022, and other applicable environmental regulations. This helps minimise the environmental impact of e-waste while promoting responsible resource recovery and contributing to a more sustainable future.

GREENZON RECYCLING PRIVATE LIMITED is an authorised e-waste recycling company in India, committed to environmentally responsible recycling practices and compliance with national environmental regulations. Authorised by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB), the company operates in accordance with the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022, and other applicable regulatory standards.

Guided by strong Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, GREENZON RECYCLING PRIVATE LIMITED supports producers in meeting their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations while promoting sustainable resource recovery and environmental protection. Through its expertise and compliant recycling processes, the company ensures that electronic waste is managed safely, responsibly, and in full accordance with India’s applicable environmental regulations — contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Benefit of Recycling of E-waste

Prevents Pollution and Environmental Risks:-Electronic waste can contain hazardous substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium, beryllium, and chromium. Improper handling can release these substances into the air, soil, and water, posing serious risks to both human health and surrounding ecosystems. Responsible recycling through authorised recyclers ensures hazardous materials are safely managed, helping reduce pollution, protect public health, and support a cleaner, safer, more sustainable future.

Conserves Natural Resources:-Responsible recycling of e-waste helps recover valuable materials such as aluminium, copper, gold, silver, and plastics — that can go straight back into manufacturing new products. This cuts the need for extracting virgin raw materials, conserves natural resources, lowers energy consumption, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and helps put the Earth’s resources to more sustainable, efficient use.

Supports Communities:-When usable electronic devices are donated or refurbished instead of discarded, their lifespan extends, and affordable technology becomes accessible to schools, non-profits, and underserved communities. Giving electronics a second life cuts down on e-waste, promotes digital inclusion, and makes better use of existing resources while creating positive social and environmental benefits.

Reduces Landfill Waste:-Electronic waste is one of the fastest-growing waste streams in the world. Recycling end-of-life electronics helps divert this waste from landfills, preserves valuable landfill space, and cuts down on environmental pollution. By recovering and reusing valuable materials, responsible e-waste recycling supports sustainable waste management and a cleaner environment.

E-Waste Recycling

HLBS Technologies is committed to promoting responsible and environmentally sustainable e-waste management across the country. To facilitate the safe collection, transportation, and recycling of end-of-life electronics, we have partnered with GREENZON RECYCLING PRIVATE LIMITED, an authorised e-waste recycling organisation.

All collected e-waste is transported to GREENZON’s authorised recycling facility located at R-30, UPSIDC Industrial Area, Sikandrabad, Uttar Pradesh – 203205, India, where it is processed and recycled in accordance with the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022 and other applicable environmental regulations.

Need Help with E-Waste Recycling?

Customers seeking assistance with the responsible disposal of electronic waste can contact our Toll-Free Helpline: 1800 274 9111. Our support team will guide you through the recycling process, provide information about the nearest collection or drop-off centre, and explain the available take-back and recycling initiatives for end-of-life electronic products.

Do’s

  • Check the product manual first. Refer to the product documentation for specific instructions on the safe handling, storage, return, and disposal of the equipment before taking any action.
  • Use authorised service and recycling providers. Repairs, refurbishment, and recycling should be carried out through authorised service centres, collection points, or certified e-waste recyclers, not third-party shops.
  • Reach out to an authorised collection centre when the product reaches the end of its useful life. HLBS Tech provides authorised e-waste collection centres and designated collection points for the responsible disposal and recycling of end-of-life electronic products.
  • When it’s time to recycle, take devices, batteries, and accessories to an authorised e-waste collection centre. This is what keeps the recycling process safe and environmentally sound.
  • Before dropping off, take a moment to prepare products for Safe Disposal—remove the battery (where applicable) and securely protect any glass components to prevent damage or injury during transportation and recycling.

Don’ts

  • Do not dismantle electronic products yourself. Many electronic devices contain hazardous components that require specialised handling — disassembly should be left to professionals.
  • Do not dispose of e-waste in regular bins. If a product is marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol (or a “Do Not Dispose” label), it needs to go through authorised recycling channels instead.
  • Don’t hand over e-waste to unauthorised recyclers. Unauthorised or informal handlers may lack the means to handle it safely, which can create real environmental and health risks.
  • Don’t mix e-waste with household trash. Mixing electronic waste with general waste can result in improper disposal, allowing hazardous substances to enter landfills and contaminate the environment.

E-Waste Collection & Recycling

HLBS Tech Pvt. Ltd. is committed to fulfilling its environmental responsibilities and complying with the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022. We’ve put a structured collection system in place so that discarded electronics don’t just disappear into landfills — they get channelled to authorised recycling facilities, where they’re handled, processed, and recycled safely, responsibly, and within the bounds of the law.

What Should I Do with My Electronic Discards?

A simple Reduce, Reuse, Recycle approach goes a long way in minimising the environmental impact of e-waste:

  • Reduce e-waste generation by using electronic products responsibly and keeping them well-maintained.
  • Reuse devices that are still in working condition — donate them or find ways to extend their useful life whenever you can.
  • Recycle anything that’s reached the end of its service life by handing it over to your nearest authorised collection centre or drop-off point.

Our Commitment

Thank you for helping us ensure electronic waste is managed safely and disposed of responsibly. Proper e-waste management isn’t something manufacturers can handle alone — it takes cooperation from consumers too —shared effort is what protects the environment and keeps sustainable recycling practices moving forward.
