Configuration

Important Notes

Kernel Version

We recommend kernel version 6.1 or newer for optimal hardware support across all HLBS products.

Secure Boot

Secure Boot is supported on all products. Some distributions may require MOK enrollment for third-party drivers.

UEFI Boot

All HLBS systems ship with UEFI firmware. Legacy BIOS boot mode is available but not recommended.

GPU Drivers

Intel integrated graphics work out-of-the-box. NVIDIA discrete GPUs require the proprietary nvidia-driver package.

NVMe Storage

NVMe SSDs are fully supported in all modern kernels (4.18+). No additional drivers needed.

Network Configuration

Intel Ethernet adapters use the e1000e/i40e/ice drivers (in-kernel). Wi-Fi requires iwlwifi firmware-nonfree package.
